Jewellery designer Nicholas King has teamed up with eyewear brand London Retro to produce a limited edition range of statement eyewear to support eye care charity Orbis - and we have three pairs to give away.
The collection, priced at £90 each, features King’s statement embellished detailing and is available exclusively through Glassesdirect.co.uk.
Nicholas King is known for his love of embellishment and strong and bold shapes, working in handmade resin to produce one-off rings, bangles and necklaces. King started his career at John Galliano in Paris and worked with Donna Karan and Alexis Bittar before setting up his eponymous line.
The Nicholas King for London Retro collection includes four styles in black, silver and gold, each inspired by a piece of jewellery that has special significance in the development of the jewellery line. Harris, our prize style, boasts the stud theme that launched the jewellery collection in 2009 and features the designer’s signature crown on the wing tip.
All profit from the collection is going to eye care charity Orbis which operates the world’s only Flying Eye Hospital and trains local eye care teams throughout Latin America, Africa and Asia, to give them the skills to treat more people suffering from preventable blinding conditions within their community.
